We and the Red Cross Thank You!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our auction of Argyle Fire Prints. The auction was a resounding success with over $1000 going to the local chapter of The American Red Cross. We are in the process of notifying the winners and once all the photographs have gone to their permanent homes, we will personally thank the buyers. If you haven’t heard from us about a bid, it’s probably because you didn’t provide us a phone number- please stop in or call to check the status!
If you didn’t get a chance to bid, we do still have a few select photos for sale. If you are interested, please stop in and talk to a staff member for assistance. Feature Item This week’s feature is more of a “bring your attention to…” the two new wooden wine racks in our store. The first features all of our wines from Orin Swift. More on this fabulous company in upcoming emails… The second rack is our “Great Buys” section. We have filled this new rack with a variety of great wines from various locales that are all priced under $15. This is the place to look for new “everyday” drink favorites, ideas to host your own tasting party on a budget or simply to expand your wine horizons. Check out the new racks next time you’re here!
Dan’s Pick We’re sensing a theme- Dan again chose French wines as his pick- Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc from Ribeauville in the Alsace region. As he tells, he had quite the love affair with these wines while in France, so much so that he smuggled large quantities of them back in his suitcase. As you can imagine, he was quite delighted to see one of our distributors picked up this winery for legitimate distribution. The best part of this find though was the price! The wine has been marked down from $14.99 to $9.99 a bottle. At that price, we can all have our own love affairs with this wine!
As always, thank you, thank you, thank you. We are only entering the 3rd month of the year- we have SO much more to come. Keep reading the newsletters and visiting the store to keep up-to-date on all of our plans! You all have proven you’re always game to be adventurous with us and we are going to hold you to that as 2013 continues!
